Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of UnifiedAid (the "Service") provided by UnifiedAid ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Not a government agency

UnifiedAid is an independent, privately operated platform. We are not affiliated with the United States Government, the Social Security Administration, the Department of Agriculture, the Department of Health and Human Services, the Department of Education, or any state agency. All applications and benefit decisions are made by the relevant government agencies. We are not your legal, financial, or tax advisor. We do not guarantee approval for any benefit. Always confirm program rules with the official government source before applying.

2. Eligibility to use UnifiedAid

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your state) and a US resident or US person to use the Service. You agree to provide accurate information about yourself.

3. Your account

You are responsible for safeguarding your password and account.
You are responsible for all activity on your account.
Notify us immediately at hello@unifiedaid.org if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Free, Premium & Pilot

Browsing programs, eligibility checks, and most content are free.
Premium ($5.00/month or $30.00/year) unlocks AI form-fill, voice input, recertification reminders, and document vault.
One-time AI Form-Fill credits ($1.00 per application) are available without subscription.
Subscriptions auto-renew. You may cancel anytime in your dashboard or by emailing hello@unifiedaid.org.
Refunds: subscription fees are non-refundable after the start of a billing period, except where required by law. Form-fill credits are refundable within 7 days if unused.

5. Your content & conduct

You retain ownership of information you provide. You grant us a limited license to process it solely to operate the Service (e.g., generate AI form-fills, send reminders, sync to a government portal at your direction). You agree not to:

Submit false or fraudulent information to any government agency.
Use UnifiedAid to harm, harass, or defraud others.
Reverse engineer, scrape, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service.
Use the Service in violation of US law or any applicable state law.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

6. AI features

The Service uses AI (Claude, OpenAI Whisper, others) to extract fields, transcribe voice, and translate. AI output may be inaccurate. You are responsible for reviewing every form before submitting it to a government agency. We are not liable for errors arising from your acceptance of unreviewed AI output.

7. Affiliate partners

Some links on the Service are affiliate links — if you click them and complete an action with the partner, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Affiliate placements are clearly disclosed. We only feature services we believe are useful to our users.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR ACCURACY OF DATA. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE BENEFIT APPROVAL OR THE COMPLETENESS, ACCURACY, OR TIMELINESS OF GOVERNMENT INFORMATION DISPLAYED.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, UNIFIEDAID, ITS OWNERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS OR LOST BENEFITS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR $100, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold UnifiedAid harmless from any claim arising out of (a) your use of the Service, (b) your content, or (c) your violation of these Terms.

11. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, except where a small-claims court has jurisdiction.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or via the Service at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
