Quick answers about how UnifiedAid works, what we do with your data, and how to get help when you need it.
Is UnifiedAid affiliated with the government?
No. We are an independent platform that helps you discover and apply for programs administered by state & federal agencies. We always link you to the official source.
Is my information safe?
Yes. When you save a Pre-Submission Review, we automatically strip SSNs, phone numbers, addresses, and exact incomes before storage. Income and assets are converted to ranges. We never sell your data.
Can I use it for free?
Yes. The eligibility check, program browsing, AI Pre-Submission Review, and AI support agent are free forever. Premium adds AI form-fill and document vault.
How does the AI form-fill work?
Premium members can have our AI pre-fill long applications using their saved profile. You always review and submit; we never submit on your behalf without confirmation.
I don't have a Social Security Number — can I still use UnifiedAid?
Yes. Many programs (WIC, school meals, emergency food, Lifeline) don't require an SSN. Our eligibility check has a no-SSN-required pathway.
What if I get denied for a program?
We provide a guide for appeals and link you to free Legal Aid resources in your state. Many denials can be reversed by submitting a missing document.
How often is the program information updated?
We re-verify every program against its official source weekly. Major changes are flagged on the page; minor wording differences are tracked silently for admin review.
Do you support Spanish?
Yes. The whole site auto-detects Spanish browser settings and offers a language toggle. Program details are translated on demand by our AI.
How do I cancel Premium?
From Dashboard → Billing → Cancel subscription. Cancellation is immediate and you keep Premium features until the end of the current billing period.
Will my saved data be visible to caseworkers?
No. Your UnifiedAid account is private to you. We never send anything to a state or federal agency without your explicit click-through.
Do you share information with ICE?
Never. Our public-charge protected programs are clearly labeled and we explicitly forbid sharing with immigration enforcement.
How do I report outdated info on a program?
Every program page has a 'Report outdated info' button. Submissions go to our admin queue and trigger a manual re-verification.
